What We Believe

We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God - breathed out by God, written by human hands, and inerrant in their original autographs.
They are the final authority in all matters of faith, conduct, and doctrine.
They reveal Who God is and how He relates to mankind and the universe.
The Bible is not merely a book that contains the Word of God. It is the Word of God.
We teach it, live under it, and measure everything by it.
We believe in one God - eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Who are co-eternal together and co-equal.
Each Person of the Godhead is fully God, distinct in Person, and united in essence, will, and purpose.
God is changeless, one in action, but three in both revelation and manifestation.
The God we serve is not a distant force. He is a Father who knows His children, a Saviour who gave His life for them, and a Spirit who dwells within them.
The Father is God.
He is all the fullness of the Godhead, invisible, without form, whom no man has seen or can see.
He is neither created nor begotten.
We believe that Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully human.
He is God in all His fullness manifested, revealed, and conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, and the exact representation of the Father.
He is from the Father, not made, not created, but begotten.
For the plan and purpose of redemption, He is not inferior, not unequal, but submissive and obedient to the Father's will.
He lived without sin, died on the cross as the atoning sacrifice for the sin of all humanity, rose bodily from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven, and is presently seated at the right hand of the Father.
He is coming again - personally, visibly, and in glory.
We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit throughout history, for today and on into the future of eternity.
He is given to every believer at salvation, and available in fullness through the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the gifts of the Spirit as listed in 1 Corinthians 12, Romans 12 and 1 Peter 4, the fruit of the Spirit as described in Galatians 5, and the anointed ministries of the Spirit at work in and through the Body of Christ today as found in Ephesians 4.
The gifts of the Spirit are given to every believer and are to be actively sought, stirred up, and exercised for the equipping and perfecting God's people for service, and building up of the Body of Christ.
We believe that humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin - and that sin has separated every person from God.
Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
It cannot be earned, inherited, or achieved by human effort.
Every person who repents of their sin and places personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is born again, forgiven, justified, made holy, and adopted as a child of God.
The Father planned redemption, the Son effected redemption, and the Holy Spirit applies redemption.
We believe in divine healing as part of the redemptive work of Christ - that the same Jesus who healed the sick during His earthly ministry continues to heal today through the power of the Holy Spirit and in response to the prayer of faith, and the laying on of hands.
We believe in the full function of the fivefold ministry as described in Ephesians 4:11 - apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers - given by Christ to the Church for the equipping of the saints, the work of ministry, and the building up of the Body of Christ to maturity.
The Church cannot reach its God-intended fullness without them.
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ and the primary instrument through which God is establishing and extending His Kingdom in the earth until the return of Jesus Christ.
The local church is the discipleship environment - the household in which disciples are born, formed, trained, and released into the family business of the Kingdom.
The Church functions in worshipping the Lord, edifying the saints, discipling the lost, and resisting the Kingdom of Satan.
We believe in the autonomy of each local church, and that all itinerant and apostolic ministries should be relationally accountable to a local church and to recognised senior leadership.
We believe in the personal, bodily, and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
At His coming, He will judge both the living and the dead - the redeemed to eternal life, and the unrepentant to eternal separation from God.
We hold this conviction not as a doctrine to be debated, but as an imminent reality to be prepared for - and the urgency of that preparation shapes everything we do as per 2 Peter 3.
We believe the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, proclaimed by Jesus as the central message of His ministry, is the message the Church is commissioned to carry to the ends of the earth.
This is not merely a message about personal salvation, though it begins there.
It is the announcement that the reign of Christ has come, is coming, and will come in fullness - and that every disciple of Jesus is called to live, work, and fight within that Kingdom as a citizen, a soldier, and a son or daughter of the King.
We actively pray for the will of God through His Kingdom rule to be done here on earth as it is in Heaven.
Satan or Lucifer was created along with many other angels by God and is under His sovereign control.
He was created perfect and wise, but through pride, he sinned and fell from his exalted position.
There are good and evil angels classified as archangels, principalities, powers, seraphim, and cherubim at work in God's universe. There are also hosts of other angels and demons. Satan's kingdom consists of many angels and demons who follow him.
They oppose God, accuse and deceive God's people as well as oppress and enter unprotected humans and animals.
Satan is a liar, murderer, thief, and destroyer.
He is now under God's curse and will be cast into the eternal lake of fire and brimstone by God as his punishment.
He was defeated and stripped of his power at the cross of Jesus Christ.
He is still operating as the prince of this world's system, but, as Christians, we submit to God alone and resist him and his hordes as enemies in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We teach it. We live under it. We measure everything by it.
These convictions are not the ceiling of our theology - they are the floor. They are the non-negotiables that shape our teaching, govern our training, and determine how we engage in ministry. Everything Life House Ministries does flows from this ground.
