Boot Camp 2nd June 2011 with the Life House Band of Brothers (Retreat at Lake Somerset)
In order for a man to get his heart back, he’s got to take a journey.
One that involves risk, danger, and a point of no return.
Fight Club Boot Camp, is a four-day quest into the recovery of the masculine soul.
Our stories from camp:
The average man today is lost and has no idea what his responsibilities are or why he is even here on earth. I have struggled with this myself. This is a journey and the course/boot camp has started to show me what it is to be a real man and what I need to do to be a good husband and father. Most importantly it has clearly shown me that I need to fight for my own heart first and or the hearts of others around me.
I came to this Boot Camp as a disengaged man. Disengaged from my heart, my mission, my wife, family ...from life. This experience has as a starting point to rediscovering allowed me to start the process of finding my hurts, the lies that I have used to cover them and to reconnect with myself, family and God. Thank you for the insights, the leading, the sharing of experiences and providing the environment that allows the rediscovery to take place. May the Lord bless you for your work in guiding and equipping us.

Sheer Beauty is a retreat inviting women to a deeper, more true and lasting beauty in the Kingdom of God. This kind of beauty, not easily come by, is born out of the trials and testing’s, the triumphs and the tragedies of the reality of the story we find ourselves living in. A life of sheer beauty is found in the dreaming, the dying, the surrendering, the training, the bowing down and the rising up, the running and finally the reigning with Christ in this life and in the age to come.
Sheer beauty is our true inheritance. By God's hand our identity is imparted and yet the call on our lives is hard fought for. Sonship is bestowed by our Father and costs us nothing, but walking in our true glory costs us everything. Being a princess in the kingdom is a gift, but becoming a queen and reigning with Jesus is a destiny long chosen.
We begin this life with God by faith, but we finish the race by faithfulness...During this retreat, we will explore where we find ourselves in God's story and in light of the hour we are currently living, what it will look like to gain this kind of beauty and answer the call..."For such a time as this..."
